Yep, Apple has today announced a bunch of new subscription services that are (kind of) life-changing but let’s be honest, I’m just here for Oprah and the new Animoji.

So, what has Apple announced? A few things that’ll be available in Australia and one that’s only launching in the US (for now). To kick things off, let’s talk about…

Apple AirPower

Just kidding.

Apple Card

The biggest flex since AirPods (and Fyre); Apple Card is basically a super fancy credit card that you can set up in Apple Pay within minutes. Allegedly, there are no fees and they’re aiming to have some of the lowest interest rates around. Oh, and it’s super pretty.

It’s launching in the US by the end of August, but here’s hoping for an Aussie expansion ASAP.

Apple TV+

Netflix who? Apple TV+ doesn’t know who she is.

Apple TV+ is Apple’s new streaming service available on some TVs as an app and on Apple devices.

Basically, all you need to know is that Oprah will seemingly have a new show on it. Yass.

Apple Arcade

Gaming is now a $134b industry and it seems that Apple wants a sweet piece of that pie. And, they’re not alone — just recently Google announced their new game streaming service, Stadia, which basically aims to remove the need for consoles like the PlayStation and Xbox. Wild.

Apple Arcade will let you play across your devices from iPhone, Mac, Apple TV to iPad. It’ll have over 100 games ready to go at launch and they’re working with some pretty big names like Disney and SEGA (wow, remember them?). Launching in “Fall”, so… by the end of May.

Apple News+

Read all about it here. Basically, they’re just adding magazines, including Vogue, and offline reading.

P.S. They’ve also released the next iPhone software update, iOS 12.2. There are a bunch of updates, but how about those new Animoji? Catch me in iMessage.
