The Truth Why Intelligent Women Prefer to Stay Single
Single life is now a happy life
I have been bingeing HBO's Sex and the City for the past few months.
Growing up in my twenties, I had three solid girlfriends who were my roommates and closest friends when the series was a hit in the early 2000s.
While watching the series, I reflected on my city lifestyle in Halifax, N.S. and remembered how connected I felt to Carrie Bradshaw, played by Sarah Jessica Parker.
Her character plays a beautiful writer living in New York who loves shoes and brunch with her favourite girlfriends but is mostly a hopeless romantic.
So here I am, 43 years old, single, writing articles about love — and still waiting for my "Mr. Big" to experience our most beautiful love story.
“I’m looking for love. Real love. Ridiculous, inconvenient, consuming, can’t-live-without-each-other-love.” — Carrie Bradshaw
If you're anything like me, you've probably been single for some time and wondering why.
As I casually dated, a few incredible men crossed my path, leaving a piece of them behind and reminding me of what I wanted and didn't want.
