J.R.R. Tolkien believed in reincarnation

A ‘devout Catholic’ had his own ideas

To grow up Christian, one is often told that fantasy writer J.R.R. Tolkien was a ‘devout Catholic’, and his works are a part of the Christian religion.

I went to look up the sources for Tolkien’s religious beliefs, and found surprising facts—like his belief in reincarnation.
