I went looking up facts in Bible scholarship about the Christian scriptures—to find a lot I didn’t expect. Let’s look at how “religion” misread the Bible.
When the Bible is seen to have coercive power over populations, whoever interprets the Bible becomes a king. That’s Christian history. Key terms were mistranslated, key concepts misrepresented, and lies were told.
