Locworld 37 Warsaw: The underdog strikes back!

Beluga Linguistics is proud to be participating at this year’s LocWorld37 Warsaw conference on June 6–8.

As part of this year’s LocWorld Program Committee, our founder and CEO Jan Hinrichs joined forces with other distinguished leaders of the global localization industry to help Ulrich Henes and the LocWorld team filtering the most relevant submissions for the gathering in Poland.

It was a fantastic experience to collaborate in the program committee and to discuss and select the topics with veterans from Salesforce, Ralf Lauren, IKEA, Smartling and others. We are all very exited to see the results on stage very soon.

At the conference, Jan will be presenting together with Ilenia Bellucci (Trustpilot) and Kirsten Kay Meinertz (K&Co.) on the 8th of June under the track of Core Competencies a panel called “Tips and Tricks”. The panel focuses on three different views about localization, namely the corporate, startup and the LSP angle. The clue will be teaching attendees to design “localization” and without having only English in mind.

Beluga had the rare privilege of cooperating for over a decade with high profile web-services, which allowed them a unique view on team relations and internal dynamics of fast-growing companies.
