Satisfying Her Desires Chapter Three: Very Lucky
He knows the secret to a happy life, and that’s to do whatever makes his new wife happy.
“How did you get so lucky?” my best man asked as we watched Kimberly walk towards us dressed in all white.
“No, idea,” I smiled as Kimberly made it to me.
Her father just stared at me. I knew he had accepted to give me his daughter’s hand in marriage, but I knew there was still some doubt and apprehension on his mind.
“Don’t mind him,” Kimberly whispered as she held my hand.
“I don’t,” I smiled as we faced the pastor.
Two years since that fateful night at her house, and we were still going strong. Things had changed since then.
I still worked in security, but no longer as a bouncer. I worked at a huge law firm downtown. It was luck of the draw that I got the job, really. One of the bigwigs was at the club one night, and I noticed someone kept passing by him, back and forth.
That person hadn’t bought a drink or anything, then I saw him reach for something in his pocket as he made another pass. I launched myself at him and stopped him from stabbing the man with a knife.
