How to create an Ethereum wallet on MyEtherWallet and MetaMask
To receive Benebit tokens (BNE), you need an Ethereum ERC-20 compatible wallet.
We recommend using MyEtherWallet or MetaMask to buy and store your BNE tokens.
Creating a wallet on MyEtherWallet
1. Go to: https://myetherwallet.com/
Enter a strong password and click on ‘Create New Wallet’. Save this password in a safe place — you’ll need it to unlock your wallet.
2. Click on ‘Download Keystore File (UTC/JSON)’. Store the file safely on your computer. You will need it to unlock your wallet.
3. After the Keystore File has been downloaded, click on ‘I understand. Continue.’
4. Save your private key. You will be able to access your wallet using this key.
It is very important that you keep your private key safe. Unless the Keystore File is used, losing your private key will make you unable to login to your wallet.
Make sure to save your public and private keys. Do not give them away!
5. Click on ‘Save Your Address’.
6. First choose ‘Private Key’ to access your wallet. Then enter your private key in the blank and click unlock.
7. Navigate to ‘Send Ether & Tokens’ tab. Enter your private key.
8. On the next screen, you will see the “Wallet successfully decrypted” message appear, and your address that you will use to receive your BNE tokens.
Attention: Please carry out all the steps with caution. If your private key and Keystore file are lost, you will no longer have access to your wallet and all the assets stored in it.
Only you have control over your assets. The Benebit team is unable to restore the access to your wallet under any circumstances. Blockchain Ethereum ensures that no one, including the creators of the system, can gain control over your assets without having a private key from your wallet.
The process of creating a public and private key for your wallet can only be carried out on your own computer.

Creating a wallet on MetaMask
MetaMask is an Ethereum browser. It gives you all the same functions, features and ease of access from regular Ethereum wallets, and it allows you to interact with Dapps and Smart Contracts. With MetaMask, you won’t have to download the entire blockchain or install any software — you can install it as a Google Chrome Extension! So let’s get started with MetaMask!
MetaMask requires installing the Google Chrome browser.
- From Google Chrome, install the MetaMask plugin to your Google Chrome browser.
2. Click on the “+ADD TO CHROME” button to install the extension. Confirm by clicking “Add Extension”.
3. A new tab will open, and the MetaMask extension button will be displayed in the right top of your Chrome browser’s toolbar.
4. In the new tab, scroll down and click “Accept” to agree with MetaMask’s terms of use.
5. Fill in a strong password to use MetaMask and click “Create”. Save this password in a safe place — you’ll need it to restore your wallet.
Do NOT lose your password!
6. You will see 12 words, which you should save in a secure, offline place! These 12 words can be used to gain access to your wallet.
Save your seed words somewhere safe and press “I’VE COPIED IT SOMEWHERE SAFE” or SAVE SEED WORDS AS FILE.
You’re ready to fund your account! To access your wallet address — next to Account 1, click the menu icon to the right of it and click “Copy Address to Clipboard” to copy it.
