Benefix receives loan from Ben Franklin Technology Partners

Ben Franklin Technology Partners recently invested in 13 Pennsylvania startups including Benefix.

BFTP lent $175,000 in the form of an unsecured loan.

Lancaster Online writes, “Benefix received $175,000 and Sustainable Composites received $100,000, the state-supported organization announced Wednesday.

Benefix, launched in 2016, developed a platform that automates and simplifies the complex process used by brokers to sell and enroll benefit products on line. Last week it was named a regional finalist in the “Rise of the Rest” funding competition.”

BFTP provides startup capital to young companies located in Central and Northern Pennsylvania.
