HiFi incubatees Bentamobile and DreamWeave got some invaluable hands-on mentoring from business designer John Collery of IDEO.org who gave a short talk on Venture Design on October 28 at the School of Design and Arts.
The teams were taught how to go from an idea on a post-it to a working prototype in 24 hours. Here are the top three things the teams learned:
- Always design based on human needs
- Iteration is critical
- Break the rules
