HiFi at First World Forum on Urban Violence and Education for Coexistence and Peace / Madrid / May 19–21
HiFi Director Abi Mapua-Cabanilla was invited to the First World Forum on Urban Violence and Education for Coexistence and Peace for HiFi’s design research Our Traffic Way Of Life or #OTWOL.
Our Traffic Way of Life is an initiative within the framework of the ACERCA Programme on Training for the Development of the Cultural Sector of the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID) and with the collaboration of the International Latin American Foundation for Public Administration and Policies (FIIAPP), supported by the Turkish Airlines.
Held in Madrid, this Global Forum focuses on what local leaders can do to make cities a place of peace and coexistence.
Cities are the human settlements of the present and the future; places that are not exempt from conflicts and expressions of violence, but they are also a place of opportunities. (Mayors) from all over the world met with civil society benchmarks, international organizations and peace leaders by opening a process of debate and reflection that is committed to education as a tool of coexistence in order to ensure the future welfare of our cities.
