Conclusions

Famed author Ralph Waldo Emerson once said:

Peace cannot be achieved through violence; it can only be attained through understanding.

By analyzing the impact of the organizations featured in this Capstone project, it is clear that Bosnia and Herzegovina is on the right track towards becoming a more tolerant and understanding society. While progress is often slow and hard to measure, the ripple effects that reconciliation programs have on the overall community will continue to present themselves over time. Eventually, with enough support, Jakob Finci’s dream will be accomplished, a dream shared by many for a bright future for their country and their people.
