With the holidays in full swing, the BentoBox design team has been filled cheery moods and festive spirits. As a special holiday bonus project, we decided to design our own holiday gift wrap. From food to groundhogs to vintage vibes, there are plenty of gift wrap designs to choose from!

The best part of Christmas (or any holiday really) is usually the food. This wrapping paper is an homage to all the delicious carbs that help make the holidays extra special.

Starting the day after Thanksgiving, we always have Christmas movies looping on our tv 24/7. There’s something magical to walking past the TV and seeing Tim Allen putting on that Santa suit for the first time, or singing along to the Hot Chocolate song from Polar Express, or even Kevin McCallister pranking the Wet Bandits. But nothing beats watching the hotel staff in Home Alone 2 react to the “Angels with Even Filthier Souls” clip. “Merry Christmas You Filthy Animal!”

Personally, I can't think of a better holiday activity than wrapping gifts. This year, I found a love for the type of wrapping paper that looked like brown paper bags. Something about the less saturated and vintage design to them felt nostalgic. So, my design is a play-off of that. A repetitive simple pattern made up of de-saturated colors and an off-white base.

This festive flash wrap really brings the term “Gothmas” to life! Inspired by tattoo flash sheets and all things spooky, this gift wrap will keep you feeling festive and frightful all at the same time.

This simple, graphic wrapping paper uses lots of different shapes to make an engaging wintery pattern. Vibrant blues and white keeps it festive for any gift-giving occasion!

My dad has always maintained that Groundhog’s day is his favorite holiday because you don’t have to cook any special meals, have family over or give anyone a present. I thought it would be perfect to make a wrapping paper poking fun at this idea with everyone’s favorite Punxsutawney native peeking his head outside of a stocking. Use this wrapping paper for 6 more weeks of holiday cheer! P.S. Both the groundhog and my father share the name Phil.
