For this Valentine’s Day, we couldn’t resist letting the puns do the talking! Pairing some of our favorite BentoBox customers’ branding and a tasteful amount of wordplay, we designed Valentine’s Day cards that are sure to get the attention of your favorite foodie Valentine.

Chia Chick-Pie aims to bring the vibrant and nostalgic foods of Taiwan’s night markets to Miami Beach. Their branding is bright and fun and features deep red, yellow, and teal-blue and lots of rounded corners. I couldn’t resist using their cute chick illustration as the centerpiece of this Valentine’s Day card.

Their brand cream color helps the red to make the card feel warm and fitting for Valentine’s Day. Used the same typography from their site for the pun “can’t stop chicken you out.” The layered colors inspired from their website navigation frame the yellow chicks with a heart floating above.

Patti Ann’s is a self-described love letter to the Midwest, bringing fine dining expertise and unique blends of comfort food to Brooklyn, NY. Their bright colors and sketch-like outlines on the text were perfect for a Valentine’s design.

“Our love is blooming” is a play on the blooming onion dish they’re known for. I added text with rotating colors like their logo and line art graphics inspired by the offset lines used throughout their site.

Matcha Magic is the first plant-forward Matcha bar location in the heart of Bellevue, WA. This woman- and minority-owned cafe, boasts a bold and welcoming brand identity that seamlessly blends the hues of pink and green.

The rise in Matcha’s popularity over the years presented the perfect opportunity for a Valentine’s Day card. Starting with the pun “I love you very matcha” and pairing it alongside a Matcha character illustration that brings both warmth and charm to the message. Incorporating the brand’s color palette, as showcased on their website, along with brand fonts, adds a finishing touch to this card, making it ready to send to your Valentine.

Pedros Tacos & Tequila is a family-owned restaurant located in Valdosta, Georgia serving up yummy Mexican and Tex-Mex favorites which includes one of my favorite things to eat, guacamole.

“You Guac My World” is a cute, playful Valentine’s Day card based on Pedro’s colorful branding. It was so fun using Pedro’s bold color palette and assets to inspire the little heart accents and wavy edging. The font, Sancreek, is the same font as their headers on the website to pull everything together. Don’t forget to pair this card with a big bowl of guacamole and chips to send to your Valentine!
