The Internet Archive’s New “National Emergency Library” Generates A Range of Strong Reactions

In response to the far-reaching effects of the COVID-19 virus and related societal shutdown, the Internet Archive (IA) has built what it calls a “National Emergency Library” (NEL). In a nutshell, the IA has taken its existing “Open Library” project and made it far more expansive.
