Did you know that you can get help with your Medicare questions — for free?

HICAP (Health Insurance Counseling and Advocacy Program) is a state-sponsored agency that provides Medicare beneficiaries with assistance understanding their benefits, rights and options.

The information is unbiased. HICAP does not sell, sponsor, recommend or endorse any specific program. Counselors are trained to provide specific, personalized information to the beneficiary to allow them to make informed decisions about their Medicare benefits.

HICAP has offices throughout Alameda County. The main office located within the offices of Legal Assistance for Seniors, 333 Hegenberger Road, Oakland, CA 94621.
