The Washington Post Bias

Washington Post is not giving Bernie Sanders appropriate coverage. The Post consistently covers Hillary more than 2x as much as Bernie.

I searched the WashingtonPost.com to see how many results (articles, videos) there were for each presidential candidate. Over the last 60 days the Washington post published 1409 results for Hillary Clinton; Only 562 for Bernie Sanders.

In real life Bernie has consistently been drawing the largest crowds and leads Hillary in both Iowa and New Hampshire polls. Yet in one of the most trusted newspapers in the world, Bernie Sanders is still getting stiffed.

It’s worth noting that an article that mentions Hillary 20 times and Bernie only once comes up as 1 result for both of them. Doing a search for every mention of a candidate would surely show results skewed even more in Hillary’s favor.

Yesterday’s Washington Post headlines (8/29/15) :

Clinton: GOP ‘extreme’ on women’s issues”
“Juggling at the center of the Clinton universe”
“The Clinton non-scandal”
“Feud between Trump, Bush family dates back decades”
“Yes, Trump can”
“Friends of Beau Biden urging vice president to make 2016 bid”

Nothing for Bernie…

The Post is giving Joe Biden as much (often even more) coverage in the presidential race than Bernie — and Joe is not even a running candidate!
Over the last 7 days the results were: 191 Hillary, 72 Bernie, 71 Biden

In real life Bernie has consistently been drawing the largest crowds. Hillary’s biggest crowd was a meager 5,000 in NY 6/13.
