How to scrape and extract all Twitter Followers and Followings
Twitter is a social network that over time has become more and more popular keeping pace with other giants such as Instagram and Facebook. Unlike the latter two, Twitter is the favorite social network for those who want to share news through simple but concise “tweets” with possible links to external sites.
It is therefore also the perfect place for professionals or small and medium-sized companies who want to expand their communications network and find potential customers online.
Using Twitter is really simple because you just need to create an account (or use the Facebook / Google one) and once you have accessed the platform you can start reading the tweets of other users. As on Instagram or Facebook, on Twitter you can also “like” or decide to “follow” another user and then stay updated on all the tweets written by that user.
If you are also a Twitter user, you will have noticed that over time if you interact and if you release interesting content, the number of followers tends to increase more and more.
Having a large number of followers is synonymous with an excellent reputation and also gives you the opportunity to have a good “audience” with whom to share your ideas or your news. But if you want to contact all your followers privately, how can you do it? How do you extract the list of your followers, or the followers of your “competitor”? The answer to these questions is given in the following paragraph.
Is it possible to scrape Twitter followers?
If you log in to your Twitter account or to the profile page of any Twitter user you will notice that the list of followers is in “clear”. This means that it is visible to all, and as such it is also possible to download and save it. But how?
Well a first method could be to copy and paste … a good method only if the followers are only about ten. But if there are hundreds or thousands, then you have to rely on an AUTOMATION software that does the follow-up operations in a completely automatic way. There are several automation software and BOTs out there that can do this job, but below we want to report TwitBot PRO.

How to use TwitBot Pro to scrape Twitter Followers
To get started download and install the free trial version of TwitBot PRO from official website.
After installation, the following initial screen will open:
The program interface is really simple and intuitive. In fact, all the functions are present in this initial screen and 3 sections can be identified:
- The upper section is the one with buttons (black) that have the “Twitter Scraper” function, ie the function of extracting followers, users and following from various accounts.
- The section on the left shows the module that allows you to import a list of Twitter users and follow them automatically (TWITTER BULK FOLLOW)
- The right section instead is the one with the automation module for the automatic sending of Likes, Comments and Retweets.
In our case, to download followers from Twitter, we need to access the “GET FOLLOWERS FROM USERS” function above.
Before clicking on this button, however, it is necessary to activate the program by clicking on the LOGIN TWITTER button at the top left (flashing button)
A Google Chrome window will automatically open in which you will need to enter your Twitter account username and password.
Wait for the login to your Twitter account to be completed and then the program screen will reappear with the top right button changed to “READY”. This means that the software is ready for all the automation operations you want to do.
Now click on the GET FOLLOWER FROM USERS button and a popup will open in which you will have to enter the username from which to extrapolate the followers. It can be the username of your Twitter account or that of any other Twitter account (even not yours).
Then click on EXTRACT USER making sure to keep the google chrome window open to full screen and always under the program (in the background). You will notice that the followers will appear in the program window.
NB: The DEMO version of TwitBot PRO allows you to extract a maximum of 20 followers. By purchasing the program license you will not have this limit and you can also download thousands of followers in a few minutes!
At the end of the extraction, a warning will appear that the process has been completed and at that point you can click on the EXPORT button to save all the followers on your computer in a text file (by default it will be saved in a file with the name followers.txt). Within this file you will find all the followers you were looking for.
Done!
Now that you have the list of followers you can do a lot of things. For example, you can send a message to all your Twitter Followers or you can also use the AUTO LIKE or AUTO COMMENT function to interact with the tweets of those followers.
