I have finally chosen where to store my photos and get out of the giant hole I dug myself simply by taking photos. The final answer, the all new, redesigned Flickr. Take one look at their homepage and you will be 90% convinced. The other 10% will have to come from you deciding to take the time to reorganize (optional) and move all your photos over to Flickr.

After I begin using Flickr, I realized just how easy they had made it to create categories such as Parties, under Parties make other categories such as birthdays, bbq’s, and holidays, and then under each of those, make sets of photos based off of events such as christmas 2011, 2012, and 2013. It sounds hard but it really isn’t. Flickr also offers every user 1 terabyte of space for free with full resolution photos, but if you need more then that, the only option is to double your space at 2 terabytes for a whopping $499.99 a year, making it the most expensive cloud upgrade around to get more space then 1 terabyte. To put that into perspective that’s about 500,000,000 average quality. They also offer an app for both smartphones and tablets, making it easy to upload all the photos you take.

Flickr also does a very nice job of displaying your photos and doesn't waste any screen space doing it. You have the option to follow your friends and family’s photos and albums and even share photos with them. And they even collaborated with a photo editor allowing you to make small edits online. You can play slideshows of specific sets, categories or even all photos. Finally, they even give you options to make prints of your photos and get them shipped directly to your house.

To sum it all up Flickr by yahoo gives the best overall experience for storing your photos online, looks the best, is the most full featured, the interface makes you feel like you are storing the photos on your computer, and you can share photos with friends and family. If you have been lost as to where to store your photos, they are scattered all over the place, you can’t share your photos easily, or you have been mixing them into that small free cloud storage you have that really isn’t made for photos, then Flickr may be the answer to all your photo needs. It can’t hurt to try it out so vist Flickr today at www.flickr.com
