Beta Finance has been audited by OpenZeppelin and PeckShield
We’re happy to announce that the smart contracts of Beta Finance have been audited by OpenZeppelin and PeckShield! We tasked these firms with reviewing all of our core contracts, with special attention to potential vectors for attackers to misuse the protocol. Crucially, no critical issues were identified. We would like to extend our gratitude to the audit teams from OpenZeppelin and PeckShield for their hard work ensuring the security of our protocol.
The PeckShield audit report is available here, and we will be releasing the OpenZeppelin audit report in the coming weeks. We believe having multiple audits is critical for our robust security model. This marks an important step as we prepare for the release of the Beta Finance protocol to Ethereum Mainnet on August 18, bringing new financial lego blocks into the DeFi ecosystem for offsetting crypto volatility and maximizing yields.
Our commitment to security
Beta Finance is committed to upholding the highest standards of security and transparency to our community. DeFi has over $80B in TVL locked right now, and this amount will continue to grow, necessitating robust security measures. As we move forward, we will continue to prioritize and strengthen the security of our protocol. Our security framework consists of four major pillars:
- Beta Finance continuously conducts internal code reviews
- Beta Finance will request external reviews from leading security researchers
- Beta Finance will incorporate real-time monitoring services
- Beta Finance will launch the Beta Finance bug bounty campaign for white hats
Alongside the audits from OpenZeppelin and PeckShield that we have announced, we will also be announcing details for the Beta Finance bug bounty campaign in the near future.
