Erasmus is that kind of word that gets people immediately excited. But, surprisingly or not, so does the word entrepreneur. Mixing up the two is just a match made in heaven.

This is why the European Commission is committed in pulling the right strings to make it happen. A program called Erasmus For Entrepreneurs #Startupreneurs, where entrepreneurs can go abroad to think of their new ventures and work in promising startups, and where startups can share with young entrepreneurs their experience and count with a few extra hands.

So, if this initial paragraph wasn’t enough to get you going, here are the 4 main reasons why you should apply:

1. Get an experience abroad

Live in a different country and challenge yourself to see the world with a different perspective. Think of your business plan and get unique insights from the market you’re in. You can choose from 21 European countries.

2. Work side by side with talented entrepreneurs

Develop your business plan with the support of talented entrepreneurs who have successfully done it before. Get to know all the startup methodologies in order to have a best possible plan to tackle the market and get things done.

3. Develop your own European network

Work on your own network of contacts across Europe. You’ll get to meet new people every day, from different organisations and companies, from all across Europe. Leverage on these contacts to launch your business. You can work with experienced startup organisations, local incubators or accelerators on your project (there’s more than 100 organisations on this program).

4. Your expenses are paid

The European Commission covers for your travel expenses and subsistence costs during your stay. So, there’s really no excuse not to apply.

Convinced? Then, make sure you register here.
