Remember that song from the Beatles, one of the very few where Ringo Star is the lead singer, called “With a Little Help From My Friends”?

Well, besides being one of our favourite songs, it reminds us of how at Beta-i we always get by with a little help from our friends. None of the crazy stuff we do would be possible if it weren’t from our amazing partners, and the Lisbon Investment Summit is no exception.

These 36 partners have endured with us the good, the bad, and the ugly of what it’s like to organise such a big event. They have helped us bring more than 300 investors from all over the world to Lisbon, including some of the top VCs in the world. They have helped us prepare an awesome venue that is Pavilhão Carlos Lopes. And they have been tireless when it comes to putting Portugal on the map as a top startup hub.

We’re in really good company…

Câmara Municipal de Lisboa and Made of Lisboa

Lisbon’s startup scene wouldn’t be what it is today without the outstanding job of Lisbon’s City Council. They have been pushing creativity and innovation forward and putting Lisbon on the spotlight as one of the top startup hubs in the world.

And to prove this commitment they have recently launched an amazing platform to showcase all of Lisbon’s startup scene called Made of Lisboa (click here to find out what Lisbon is really made of).

We’re proud to have them as our partners, and to welcome Fernando Medina on the main stage of the Lisbon Investment Summit as our speaker. Thank you for your support and for naming the main stage of our conference as the “Investment Stage by Câmara Municipal de Lisboa”.

Join us at the Lisbon Investment Summit, organised by Beta-i, in partnership with Câmara Municipal de Lisboa.

Grupo José de Mello: GROW

José de Mello is one of the biggest economical groups in Portugal. From healthcare to wine, from chemicals to mobility, they cover a wide range of industries and they have the expertise to support many startups and entrepreneurs.

For this reason, they have kicked off a program called GROW where they provide all the support for startups to validate, test and launch their product in industries such as health, chemicals, and mobility.

This year they are also our partners at the Lisbon Investment Summit and we couldn’t be more excited to have them name one of our stages the “Innovation Stage by Grupo José de Mello”.

Bright Pixel

They describe themselves as “a group of experienced builders, creative thinkers and investors, whose goal is to transform two key things: the way companies address innovation and how new ventures are put together”. And that’s exactly what Bright Pixel has been doing since they got together in 2016. They have been supporting and investing in innovative businesses and they are just getting started, believe me.

However, Bright Pixel is no stranger to us at Beta-i. We have partnered up in the past, and will certainly will in the future, for Europe’s best hackathon which is Pixels Camp.

At the Lisbon Investment Summit Bright Pixel will have its own booth there and they will also showcase some of their most promising startups.

IE Business School

IE Business School is one of the top universities in Europe, and they’ve been working with us for a very long time now. Besides having amazing degrees and professors, IE Business School is also focused on supporting entrepreneurs and startups through many different activities, and the Lisbon Investment Summit is just an example. From workshops to masterclasses, they have been covering it all, and they have been strongly committed in building the next generation of successful entrepreneurs.

At the Lisbon Investment Summit you’ll be able to find out more about them, and you’ll get to learn from some pretty cool speakers at the Education Stage by IE Business School.

La French Tech

I’m not sure if you’ve realised the increasing number of french entrepreneurs in Portugal but it’s growing by the hundreds. And along with it comes La French Tech, publicly funded initiative to promote French startups.

La French Tech has been supporting french entrepreneurs, engineers, investigators, designers, and developers, around the world, and Portugal is no exception. They are aiming at creating a truly international french ecosystem and they’ll be at the Lisbon Investment Summit to tell you all about it.

La French Tech will be taking over the beautiful Tagus river, as they are the main sponsor of our exclusive yacht cocktail party on the 6th of June.

Turismo de Portugal

We couldn’t possibly skip Turismo de Portugal :) The Portuguese organisation that supports tourism has been doing a terrific job at promoting Portugal.

They have been supporting the startup ecosystem and have really put Portugal on the map for startups in the tourism industry. Turismo de Portugal has supported programs like Smart Open Lisboa, the smart cities accelerator, or The Journey, the tourism accelerator.

Quite recently they have release this epic video called “You Can’t Skip Us”. So, it’s safe to say that you can’t skip Turismo de Portugal at the Lisbon Investment Summit.
