A year full of doubts and fear. A year dominated by the bears and bad media about cryptocurrencies and blockchain. But behind the curtains the industry is growing unceasingly.

Also betbox had a tremendous year with huge progress in many terms. After developing our event-protocol for several months in stealth we decided to publish our idea and start growing our community. Now after travelling around the world for a few months to promote our unique product and start receiving investments from gambling enthusiasts and crypto-investors, we are very certain that betbox will conquer the planet and become the world’s largest social gambling network.

In the last months the team focused on releasing the official papers to describe our dapp ecosystem, the betbox coin and our protocol. Furthermore betbox prepared the legal framework to launch the product on a global range and builded partnerships with blockchain advisors and companies from all over the world.

Despite difficulties and many adaptions to enhance the user experience we managed to publish our desktop MVP right on new year 2018/19, and therefore earlier as scheduled. With this important step we proof ourselves as reliable, future-oriented and trustworthy investment opportunity for strategic and retail investors.

2019 will be a big year for betbox. In the next few months the team is enabling the full ecosystem for our community with many entertaining features for Desktop, IOS and Android. Besides this, betbox coin will be issued and traded on global exchanges. The existing partnerships will be strengthened and our user base will be extended.

Our MVP

This debut is just the first step of many on our path to revolutionizing blockchain adaption and providing an end-to-end solution for monetized social interactions to our community, eliminating any third party interference.

An overview of the features available in the first release:

Login/Register: Connect Metamask wallets to betbox user accounts. Choose profile image and username.

Public Events: Create your own global events and start connecting with other users. Upload an image, add a title and individualize your event according to your preference. All events will be hosted by a smartcontract.

OX Events: Predictions, Assumptions, Challenges and more. With our OX-Events you can create events with two possible outcomes and customize it on your behalf.

Rivalry Events: All kind of events where two parties battle each other can be covered with the 1x2 bets in the betbox protocol. This event type gives the users the opportunity to create events, to bet on a win, draw or a loss.

Multiple Choice Events: In case your personal event may have more than two answers you may publish a multiple choice event. Use it for predictions on elections, the super bowl winner or anything else you can think about.

The following features will be added as soon as possible to enhance the ecosystem:

Social Network: Build up your social network, invite and follow friends and become a leader of the betbox ecosystem.

Private Events: Users can create events and share it only to friends or a specified target group. The participation is limited through the smart contracts and therefore can be guaranteed. The ultimate way to challenge and bet in private.

Creating Groups: You will be able to create a group or channel with as many friends as possible and create bets within the group.

Live Notifications: Get notified when you WIN or get an invite for an event. We will implement live notifications, reminders and more to enhance the UX.

Filter & Search: To navigate directly to your favourite events we will implement a sophisticated filter functionality which lets you customize your feed. Also it will be possible to search for events according their title, hashtags, users and more.

Betbox Wallet: We will add the custom betbox wallet which will enable further functionalities and provide an extraordinary easy UX.
