Angela Martin, a communication relational studies major, lives in the North resident hall with no roommates.

As part of a bigger story on mental illness, Angela Martin tells her story about how depression and disease has impacted her life.

However, she is not alone, her cat and social support group help Angela through her multiple trips to the hospitals.

“I know what it’s like to hide or want to hide who you really are,” Martin says.
