Media Production major Emma Studenski studies media production at Bethel University. While taking many classes at Bethel, Emma also has two jobs at Emmanuel Covenant Church.

She works as a teen associate for middle-schoolers at Emmanuel’s youth group and is also the lead videographer for Tuesday night church. While Emma balances work and school, she also has to add in her social life. Emma loves to hang out with friends and roommates. She loves to go hammocking and travel with them, including to Chicago to see paintings by Claude Monet, her favorite artist.

She shares helpful ways that she can make sure everything gets done and still spend quality time with friends and family. But how do she add her relationship with God on top of all that?

“When you have a job in ministry, it’s hard for when devo time overlaps with work. I carve out the first 15 minutes of my day whether I’m in my bible or reading a book.” –Emma Studenski, media production major

Emma says she has to set aside important time to keep her relationship with God strong. She will read her bible or prepare for a sermon she is going to give, or just start her morning with some old worship music. This time helps prepare her for the busy day ahead.
