DE-STRESSFLIX: A movie that will suck stress from your life.

Fred Randall, computer genius turned prospective astronaut, undergoes rigorous space training to compete for his spot on NASA’s first manned mission to Mars. In a test to withstand the force of take-off, Randall is strapped into a chair that begins spinning at high speeds in circles inside what appears to be an ice rink. The extremely high-tech testing machine is controlled by one dial, which we see turned to set Randall spinning at a speed where he is experience the force of 8 Gs. One single screw on the entire machine wiggles loose and Randall is sent flying into the air (still strapped into the chair) and straight through the drywall — unscathed. In fact, once his chair has broken through several of NASA’s walls, he continues to zoom along strapped into the chair. It isn’t until he collides with a man in wheelchair that he is suddenly brought to a halt (covered in dry wall and paint by this time).

This scene reminds us that everything is going to be OK when a screw comes loose in your life. You might be flying through walls right now but there’s always a light at the end of the tunnel (or a wheelchair at the end of the hallway) waiting to slow you down.
