Starring Steve Carrel, Paul Rudd, Zach Galifianakis. Directed by Jay Roach.

Therman (Galifianakis) and Barry (Carrel) sit at a dinner party, intended to make fun of them, and Therman explains to the group that he has mastered the practice of mind control. He proceeds to control Barry’s mind and force him to tell him some embarrassing things about his personal life. The group cracks up before Therman releases Barry from his grip.

Dinner for Schmucks is for anyone who enjoys Steve Carrel’s work and just needs two hours of stress-free laughter. Finals can ramp up the intensity in your life and an intense movie is the last thing we need. Barry and Therman give the audience a care-free, hilarious show not just in this scene but throughout the film.
