After spending much time involved at summer camps, Josh Ochoa was introduced to Gospel mime, a visual representation of the Gospel. After God gave him this vision, he brought the program to Bethel University. He explains his personal struggles and mission in this short video.

Practice times were difficult to set up, finding friends to be in the mime was challenging, and getting approval from Bethel Leadership was a cumbersome process, he said, but God had his hand in all of it.

Morgan Peterson, a student at Bethel University, was supposed to run the sound booth for the show the night of a dress rehearsal. But she injured her knee. The first half hour of dress rehearsal was spent getting her to the hospital. Once members were able to gather together, the group spent another fifteen minutes praying for Peterson and the performance.

With a childlike faith, Ochoa hopes the message of the Gospel is received in a way that is unique, yet impactful.

“Even if just one person’s life is changed, all the struggles will be worth it,” Ochoa said.
