Bethel University junior Joshua De La Rosa took a road trip from Minnesota to Mexico City after graduating high school to pursue his dream of playing professional soccer.

“I still have that same dream of playing professional soccer,” De La Rosa said. “I don’t think I’ll ever give it up.”

Despite many challenges along the way and rejections from various coaches, De La Rosa continues fighting toward his dream back in Minnesota.

Now studying and playing soccer at Bethel, he hopes to make the Minnesota United professional soccer team.
