Isaac Holst: On the City Front lines

Isaac Holst, a senior graduating with philosophy and theology degrees, talks about meeting Rodney outside a strip club. One night, Rodney stayed overnight at Bethel on a couch, had pizza and went to church before Holst dropped him back off on the streets.

“It’s so cool to see such a child-like faith from an older person. Someone who is so joyful even though they’re struggling so much. And loving on other people so much, like Jesus would,” Holst said about the relationship he built in Bethel’s ministry, City Front.

“It would be easy to say I helped make some changes in his life, but it wasn’t me from the start,” Holst said.
