Mac’s Fish & Chips sits on the corner of Hamline and Larpenteur. What used to be a Clark gas station is now one of the best kept secrets when it comes to deep fried food. The cheese curds, shrimp, fish and clams are all battered and prepared by hand.

The walleye with cheese curds, chips and slaw on the side is a must-have. And don’t walk away without a piece of freshly made and pulled saltwater taffy.
