For a unique and fresh experience on a Friday night out, stop at Psycho Suzi’s. The commonplace appearance of the outside may tempt you to drive away, but the Polynesian motor lounge combines a sense of humor, great food, and tiki decor inside the hidden venue downtown.
Though the witty menu unapologetically claims the famous tater tots and fried asparagus spears are “unhealthy,” the two plates are some of the customer favorites. Hot stone pizza is the specialty, carrying endless topping combinations. If the sun is shining, ask to sit on the riverside patio. The tables are equipped with hut-shaped umbrellas, Easter island knock offs and a great view of the Mississippi.
