Baltimore has instituted a 9 p.m. curfew.

Both Adams and Giuliano reported that the cop to protester ratio was high.

Community organizer Deray McKesson recorded police in riot gear heading towards the crowd 20 minutes post-curfew. From his experiences in Ferguson, Giuliano knows that being prepared for the worst is key.

Without much of an explanation, Baltimore police opened the streets. A unit of police dogs was brought out.

The protester Giuliano overheard is mostly likely referring to incidents such as the 1963 Children’s Crusade protesting segregation in Birmingham, Alabama. Dogs and firehoses were used the young marchers.

With a decreasing amount of protesters and not much action on either side, the group decided to get some rest for the next day.
