Betoken Security Audit Complete
Next Step: Mainnet Launch 🚀
We at Betoken are very excited to announce that the security audit of our smart contracts has been completed. The audit was done by Solidified, and you can read the audit report here. All of the problems found have been fixed.
The security audit cost $18,000, and you will find the payment transactions here and here. More than $3,000 of the amount came from the proceeds of the IAO and community donations, and the rest came out our own pockets. Thanks to all the people who have supported us!
What’s Next for Betoken?
Now that the security audit is complete, we feel ready to unleash Betoken into the world. The launch date will be July 1st, 2019. Before that, we will continue to improve Betoken’s user experience and integrate margin orders powered by Compound and Fulcrum. We will also improve Betoken’s loading speed by integrating The Graph.
For the current users of Betoken Omen, our beta running on the Rinkeby Testnet, your Testnet Kairo tokens will be converted into Mainnet Kairo tokens at some point between the end of the current investment cycle and July 1st. We will notify you when that happens through Telegram, Twitter, and email. Find out more about the conversion.
