Football Team at Giants — Can the season end already?
The Giants simply haven’t been good this year. They rank 31st in points scored at just 15.7/gm and because of their poor offense, are allowing over 24/gm. They are riding a five game losing streak in which their average margin of defeat is 18.4. Washington has been equally disappointing coming off a division title last season and is on their own four game winless streak. Interestingly, Washington’s season has been played in four game segments. They alternated wins and losses over the first four, lost four, and won four prior to this current bad spell. Neither of these teams is playing for anything more than pride and both are riddled with injuries. Who wins this bottom of the barrel contest is anyone’s guess and it may actually benefit both to gain draft position with a loss. That said, The Giant(s) disaster just gets worse every week and they’ll be starting Jake Fromm once again. I’ll reluctantly lay the points here and take Washington -7
