Future odds for the Islanders headed into 2022

Let’s take a look at some Islanders futures headed into the New Year.

Islanders Futures

After going the distance and falling 1–0 to the eventual Stanley Cup Champion Tampa Bay Lightning in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Final, expectations were very high on Long Island headed into this year. Unfortunately, nothing has really clicked for the Islanders this year. They’ve struggled mightily to put the puck in the net, and while they’ve been fine defensively and in net their inability to score and find that timely scoring has hit hard. About a quarter of the way through the season, they find themselves in dead last in the Metro, but stranger things have happened in hockey. So with that said, here’s some Metro Division prices for the Isles.

FanDuel: +7000 | DraftKings: +9000 | BetMGM: +8000 | PointsBet: +8000

Eastern Conference and Stanley Cup odds will be shorter than the division, but they hold more value. If you truly believe in the Islanders bouncing back this season one of those props is the way to go. It’s going to be really hard for the Isles to make up all that ground on Carolina and Washington while jumping the rest of the division in the process. The more likely outcome would be they sneak into the playoffs in a wild card slot and get hot there. If you’re looking for a futures bet on the Isles, I’d avoid the division and look toward a Conference or Cup future. Here’s their odds to win the East:

FanDuel: +2500 | DraftKings: +3500 | BetMGM: +3000 | PointsBet: +3500

Here’s the Islanders odds to win the Stanley Cup

FanDuel: +6000 | DraftKings: +7000 | BetMGM: +6600 | PointsBet: +8000
