We’re looking for a locally based partner to join our Vaccine Data CoLab.

Note: the application deadline has been extended to midnight (BST) on 11th October 2022.

The Vaccine Data CoLab (VDCL), part of Better Futures CoLab, is an FCDO funded initiative that exists to make hyperlocal data accessible for real-time decision-making on the ground to improve vaccine uptake. By funding local collaborations, promoting data sharing and coordinating with the global community on what works, the CoLab bridges the gap between countries’ data needs, existing data systems, and appropriate technologies. We call this approach ‘precision public health’.

VDCL has selected Uganda out of two testbed countries to provide dedicated analysis, behavioural science and innovation expertise on real time decision-making using geospatial microplanning data for vaccine uptake, particularly looking at hesitancy and confidence.

We’re now looking for a dynamic partner in Uganda who is excited to dive deep into this problem, who has strong networks in-country and experience with data, behavioural science and workshop planning and facilitation.

The collaboration will involve stakeholder mapping and landscape assessment of Uganda’s existing health ecosystem for a health system data playbook, and support workshop planning, coordination, and facilitation for the stakeholder engagement on the Vaccine Data CoLab objectives.

Download the Instructions to Tenderers (ITT) for more details about the opportunity and requirements for the role.

If you’d like to get involved, we’d love to hear from you!

Please confirm if you are interested in bidding by sending an email to VaccineData@makingbetterfutures.org stating Uganda Test Bed National Partner in the subject line.

Bids and any clarification questions should also be sent to vaccinedata@makingbetterfutures.org. Note: the application deadline has been extended to midnight (BST) on 11th October 2022.

We look forward to hearing from you :)
