I got rejected by Better Humans
So I did something about it and you should DEFINITELY do the same
Now, I’ve been rejected before. Actually lots of times. I got rejected from my first crush. I’ve been rejected from a company I really wanted to work for. I’ve been rejected when I ask my kids to read a book over playing their iPads.
There was something awful about this time. I was rejected for a story for Better Humans and it felt, honestly, like I wasn’t one.
Weirdly timed, I read a recent article about publication rejection from Tim Denning. I’m sorry Tim, but this hurt badly and I couldn’t leave it alone…
So, let’s get this out in the open first. Here is the rejection letter I recieved from Better Humans in case you find yourself, one day, in the same boat as me —
