13 Things I Stopped Doing That Drastically Improved My Life

  1. Using my Cell Phone Extensively is something that I stopped at the dismay of many people that wanted to communicate with me (Sorry Mom). Nowadays it’s only used for productivity apps, messaging people at most once a day or for work when I am away from home.
  2. Watching TV is a very time consuming habit for most people. My life has been much happier and fulfilling without owning one.
  3. I used to be a very shy kid that was always resentful when no one invited me to events. Today I don’t wait for others to invite me and instead make my own plans and invite them. Sometimes you have to take things into your own hands. Be the one that writes first.
  4. Getting Up Late has always had me have worse days. If I shower before 7am (and do the rest of my morning routine before then) I feel better and get more done. At least as long as I still get my 8 hours of sleep.
  5. For those that know me: I talk a lot. So much so that I often spoke without thinking. And while this created some free and fun moments it also got me in quite a bit of trouble. Today I opt for thinking and asking myself if this is necessary or beneficial to say before I say it.
