Use My Free, Foolproof Template to Finally Start Journaling
A Step-By-Step Guide to Creating a Data-rich Journal for Capturing Your Memories & Ideas
Whenever I tell people a bit about my journaling habit, I feel like they get the impression that it’s ‘a writers’ thing’.
But I don’t see journaling as primarily a writing exercise — I see it as a thinking practice. So, I think it could deepen anyone’s experiences and help us keep track of ourselves.
For example, I immigrated to a different country in my late teens. And though I was excited about the move, I was also worried about how much of my mindset would change when I entered a completely different culture for the first time. I was a little scared of turning into a person I didn’t recognize.
But jotting down my thoughts helped me stay anchored and keep some sort of record of what turned out to be a chaotic journey.
In the past few years, though, one journaling format stuck with me the most. It was easy to fall back to even when I attended architecture school and barely slept for days in a row.
