Yeah, but if the fish invented a tree-climbing device, that would be pretty impressive, right?

As marketers, we all have our natural strengths — our own ‘swim lanes.’

Some of us dream up exciting campaigns effortlessly, others can decode complex marketing data, and some have a knack for building relationships with even the toughest customers.

I call these talents marketing intelligences.

Just like renowned psychologist Howard Gardner’s theory that humans possess one or more natural intelligences, I believe every marketer has their own unique set of smarts.

And through my years of experience, I’ve identified five key intelligences in marketing that can truly make or break your success.

The best part? Intelligence isn’t fixed.
