The Pitch Deck That Helped Me Earn $25,000 In 3 Months Of Freelancing
A step-by-step guide (with examples) to building the perfect freelance deck
Freelancing is my side-gig and always will be. I love my full-time job and the opportunities that exist in the industry. HOWEVER — at my current level, the pay isn’t amazing and I like money.
Not just money, obviously. I love that it gives me the opportunity to branch out and explore new projects and industries. The confidence boost I get from heading up these jobs myself along with the new learnings and skillsets, have all trickled over into my day job and just made me better — winning all round!
Back in July of 2021, I wrote a piece detailing my first foray into freelancing where I made $7,800 in my first month and outlined my strategy for doing so. Since publishing that piece, the most common follow-up questions have been around cold-pitching potential clients and, more specifically, what this magical pitch deck that I keep referring too was?
Look, I’ve had the best intentions to write that piece, honestly — I’m not here to gate-keep! But I’ve just been busy. Busy working my 9–5, busy living my life, and, busy freelancing.
It’s been going really well.
