You’ve probably read dozens of articles on how to boost conversions. Most of them repeat the same formulas: “improve your CTA,” “create urgency,” “run A/B tests.”

But anyone serious about digital marketing knows that the biggest results don’t come from surface-level tricks. They come from invisible adjustments, intentional decisions, and—most importantly—understanding how people really make choices.

If you’re familiar with Robert Cialdini’s classic persuasion principles, you already know how powerful they are. But human psychology goes deeper—and offers even more triggers that turn visitors into leads (or customers).

In the excellent book Marketing Online, the Essentials, authors Nino Adamo and Geert Buskes cover several areas of digital marketing. But one chapter in particular caught my attention: conversion optimization.
