But, sadly, this isn’t the case.
As a software engineer, you can only code so much. Each line of code is valuable but only so valuable. Deep in our subconscious, we know there’s a way to give our hard work its props, but how?
Many of us release confetti into the air when we land our dream jobs, but we want to continue to advance. We want to move beyond our initial job announcement on LinkedIn. Like a kid at Disneyland, we want to get on more rides.
Years later, and after putting in lots of hard work, we hope to see the fruits of our labor. It’s more than just money; we want to feel inner satisfaction. We want to tell our friends about work with a smile.
When our skills soar to new heights, it would be nice if our bank accounts would trickle upward.
