Do you ever come across those people that may tell you certain things that you need to improve upon but they aren’t doing it themselves? Well, that person used to be me at a point of time. In my mind, I would be able to accurately point out the inconsistencies that other people possess in their lives but never took the initiative to take action in changing it in my own life. We can tell ourselves or someone else what we need to improve upon all day but if we don’t practice what we preach, it is meaningless. Let’s say you notice certain things in your friends around you and you make it known to them, if you don’t hold those same morals and principles, you’re not practicing what you preach. You will then become a hypocrite in this situation and your advice won’t even be credible. Let’s practice what we preach to start this week off on the right foot on today. If you try to motivate people around you to workout and you don’t workout yourself, be that first person to take initiative action so people can see the benefits that you reap from doing so. Always remember we have to be doers instead of thinkers.
