Welcome To The Confetti Effect
As it falls from the sky, it brings light, hope and happiness to all who can see it. There are people around us who have the same effect on others because of who they are and what they do. We celebrate those whose light, hope and love for those around them fall from the skies like confetti.
What is The Confetti Effect?
It is a Pay It Forward effect that will begin with a person or group that I select that is representative of the contagious spread of kindness associated with confetti. After the interview, I will ask the interviewee (s) to nominate the next individual or group who has inspired them, and then that individual will select another member of the CONFETTI EFFECT and so on and so forth until we have ourselves an effect!
As I begin blogging, I truly do not know where this may lead, but I do know that it will inspire both you and I to meet and learn about some wonderful people across our country and maybe even in the far corners of our world, whose kind works and goodness sprinkle down on those around them, spreading kindness like confetti. The hope is that the stories of kindness and love inside the Confetti Effect will inspire you to spread GOODNESS with purpose, meaning, impact and community allowing others around you to feel the contagion effect.
I’m convinced that more stories need to be told where people celebrate and emphasize the goodness that is being done in their communities. Now more than ever, humanity needs to be reminded that amidst all the anger and chaos, there is so much good in the world and so many amazing people that live out this purpose. We need to try to step out of our comfort zones and perform kind acts. If we inject kindness into our consciousness and let it influence our actions 365 days a year, the potential for positive change and impact is possible.
Kind acts do have the ability to make a difference. Each of us has the power to change our communities, ONE KIND ACT AT A TIME. My hope is to use the Confetti Effect to highlight and showcase more of the good going on in the world and to kickstart your daily kind habit.
