Write for Between Mountain and Sea

We are looking for stories that have some link to Scotland, her landscape, the people, the culture and events that are happening around the country. Pure self-promotion won’t be accepted, unless it’s included within content that will add other value to the reader. Affiliate links must be clearly marked as such.
All photos must be properly credited and have alt text added. No more than three or four photos per post, please. No photos of kids, no matter who they are. If it’s your photo, mark it as property of author.
Make sure the content has been run through some sort of spell-checker. I’ll provide a light review and suggestions if needed, but I reserve the right not to accept stories that don’t meet high quality standards, or which are not clearly from or about Scotland.
All stories must meet Medium rules, and it’s worth checking against the Quality and Content guidelines too. If I have the suspicion that you’ve used AI to generate even the smallest part of your content (except for a title), then I’ll not accept the story. Hard line on that one!
