Fear… What Exactly Do We Fear?

I wonder if it were ourselves…

The fear she’s been walking with has changed her form many times
She can disguise herself and seep into her life unexpectedly
There were times she felt so close… in gigantic size
There were other times she appeared to be far… yet persistently moving in

The fear she’s been living with has her own direction, her own vision, and damn… she’s stubborn
She will poke and poke when she isn’t touched and scream loud and threatening when she isn’t listened to.
She will not be ignored… and certainly will not be denied.

The fear she’s been tolerating has her own mood and temperament, and she’s definitely vicious
She will manipulate situations as she pleases, throwing the biggest tantrums when she doesn’t get what she wants. She will blame, throwing up all the pasts… the thousand pages of, “I told you so!”

The fear she’s been questioning started to get stronger two months ago… consistently, continuously, and obliviously
It has kept her from sleeping soundly at night
As it’s pounding the wall of her heart hard, repetitiously
Asking for her full attention, and told her, “Don’t you leave me alone! I need to grow some more!”
