Within this commercial, which advertises the state of Oregon as a place for travel and tourism, there is a cacophony of vibrant colors and imagery that highlights the beauty of the state itself. The animation is certainly a major factor into the enjoyment of this commercial, but the animation techniques used are what really sells the whole thing.

Overlapping action can be seen in one instance where a large rabbit bursts up from a large flower field. It readies itself to jump before bounding off through the petals.

Secondary action is exemplified in this animated commercial because something always seems to be moving throughout the scene, whether it be the flowers in the breeze or the fish splashing up from the water, there is consistent and fluid movement.

The staging of the commercial is its strongest feature, the smooth and beautiful transitions between each scene that sets the audience through a loose narrative as they are taken through the landscape. One particular instance where this really shines through is in a moment where a drop of rain hits the land below, causing a burst of flora and roots to come forth and swirl around the screen. The greenery goes up and up as it grows before leading the viewer back into the sky where it transitions to the hot-air balloons.
