In the short animated film Omelette made by Madeline Sharafian, The owners small dog helps their owner make an omelette for dinner so they don’t hurt themselves cooking since they are so tired. In this short adorable film there are several animations fundamentals present from squash and stretch, arcs, secondary actionn and follow through.

Squash and Stretch:

in the screenshots above the dog is going from sitting up to laying down. In order to get from point A to B the artist uses a smear frame and squash and stretch to exaggerate not only the emotion the dog is feeling but the speed of the movement.

Follow Through:

After kicking over the trash can the food squashes down before settling into its final position. These frames are an example of follow through as the subject settles after hitting the floor.

Secondary Action and Arcs:

Finally, In these frames there are two principles/fundamentals present. Secondary action and the use of arcs. The secondary action is present in the pupils of the dog as they follow the path of the omelette through the air. The path of the omelette also follows an arc through the air as well which is reinforced through the secondary action.

Overall there are several different fundamentals present in this short animated film. Hope everyone enjoys!
