“Sweet Dreams” is a story about a Cupcake man who lives in a sugary goods world with dreams of traveling the sea. His profession is working in construction where he building things with sugar cubes. He decides to build his own boat and travel the seas where he gets stuck on a “naked” vegetable island where he falls in love and gains self confidence. His new friends build him a new boat made of yams and carrots while his lady friend gives him seeds as a reminder of the vegetable island. When he returns home, more or less a converted hippie, he home folks don't immediately accept him until a flood hits that washes away all the sugary construction. He saves his towns folk by building with the seemingly sturdier carrots from the seeds of vegetable island and is then widely accepted.

Overlapping: During the scene of loneliness, the Cupcake man comes home as a storm brews. The open window allows for the wind to blow inside and the thus dynamically thrust’s the curtains. The overlapping action takes place in the movement of the curtains as they attempt to fall due to gravity but as consistently blown left and upward.

Secondary action: The Cupcake man is scrambling to prevent the sugar boat from sinking by scooping the water with his hands as the boat continues to drift diagonally and flooding at the same time.

Staging: The artist clearly presents what is going on when the Cupcake man builds a tent for shelter against the rain. He gathers building material (in the world of sugar sweets and vegetables) and creates a hybrid tent.
